Memorial Day x Doughnuts
Friends of ours have been telling us that this doughnut shop is good, so we decided to check it out.
We went to the one in Wedgewood. The place definitely has a vintage feel to it, and I mean that in a good way. In the city of coffee shops, I guess it only makes sense for home based doughnut shops to emerge.

O.G.'s
Here's a picture of the Original South Sea's Rugby team...
... but that's beside the point. I just wanted to say that the young ones these days don't have anything on guys like this when it comes to cool hairstyles and fashionably hip athletic wear! lol... I think 8 of 10 Poly dudes back in the day sported the fro. Kudos to the person who can point out my pops (he's in the beginning stages of his fro in this pic)!

Roy's Bday
For Roy's bday, we hit up Aladdin's for lunch.
L-R: Roy, Coi, Mwalimu, Me. That music video we did was a tribute to Mwalimu (aka Mwali). Hence the name of the song "Go Mwali."

Ave St. Fair
Went to the Ave St. Fair yesterday. Pretty fun. Pretty hot too. It was good to see some of our friends there. Sorry Born & Rayzed, but we missed your performance :0( Ane & Alley said it was pretty good. So good, they felt like dancing! lol... The wife & Bibi enjoyed getting a tan. I don't like the sun that much. But overall, pretty fun day. Even had a fob moment. Saw a big sign and I asked the wife what spinaxam meant (I was pronouncing it spin-axe-am). She said "It says SPINE EXAM."

Day Out
Today we decided to cruise around Seattle. We started off by going over to the Alki.
Strangers were even in the mood to take our picture. I don't even know what kind of facial expression that is on my face. Gross!
I got to skip rocks on the water. Practice is still needed.
Headed over to the lookout afterwards to check out the view of the city. Mom tried to get a better view by paying 50 cents to use that blue scope, but it didn't work. We want our money back!
We enjoyed the view from the bench.
Got hungry, so we headed over to the international district to hit up Green Leaf.
I got a sweet parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was right next to all the trash.
Since we were in the neighborhood, we headed over to Uwaji's to get some things. It was also a good time to test out the new stroller.
The only thing I needed from Uwaji's was Aloha Shoyu. But as usual, I ended up getting some other stuff.
The bento section totally caught my eye. Lisa says that in Japan, there's like never ending aisles of bento making stuff. I'll believe it when I see it (hint hint... lol).
Just got back home and everyone is taking a nap. I'm gonna take a nap too...
... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Mothers Day x Baby's Blessing
Happy Mothers Day again! So today was exciting because 1) it's the wifey's first official mothers day, 2) my mom was actually in town for the weekend, and 3) we had Bibi's baby blessing at church today. Normally I'm on top of my picture taking game, but for some reason, I totally forgot to take pictures after the blessing. Sorry guys :0( So to make it up, I'll try to post up some other pics asap. Thats Bibi's christening outfit btw. She's got this baby acne thing going on right now and it's pretty funky! But anyways, hope everyone had a great mothers day.
