So a few people were wondering were Luseane got her name from. She was actually named after my aunt from my dads side, but the story actually goes a little deeper than that. You see, my aunt once had a twin brother by the name of William. It was unfortunate that in his youth he had past away. From what I hear, my aunt and Will were very close. In respect to my uncle who had past away as a child, when I was born I was named after him.
I've always had a great relationship with this aunt of mines, and now that I have a daughter of my own, it seemed fitting that our baby be named after her. I thought it was not only important, but special to keep the whole "Luseane - Will" thing going on anyway.
For short, we just call her Ane (Ah - Nay). And what's cool about that, is that in Japanese (my wife is Japanese btw!) Ane (or at least the pronunciation of it) means "Big Sister." Coincidence? I think not! lol...
Actually, we have a lot of different names for Luseane that we call her by...
... like "Ane" of course...

... and "Yuu" (her Japanese middle name).

Then there's "Bibi" (a name the wifey called her before she was even born)...

... and I sometimes call her my "Lil' Panda" (b/c you know... she's Asian! lol).

But from 1am - 5am, we call her the "THE BEAST."

LOL. Too funny...the beast. Well, she is Tongan. It can't be the Japanese. We Japanese are not beast-like creatures. LOL. You know I'm just kidding. I got nothin' but love for the Tongan people. :)
